Our client is a leading IT company and they are looking for a Security Manager to join their team in Brussels. As a Security Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization. You will work closely with other departments to identify potential security risks and implement solutions to mitigate those risks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for the organization
- Manage and monitor access controls, security systems, and infrastructure
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify potential risks
- Develop and implement security plans to mitigate identified risks
- Train and educate employees on security policies and best practices
- Stay up to date on the latest security threats and trends, and recommend and implement appropriate security solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in IT security management
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization
- Familiarity with security systems and tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and antivirus software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
