To support the growth of engineering activities for one of our clients, a major industrial player in Europe, we are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to reinforce their team.

Your mission:

You manage all activities carried out by the engineering team assigned to a project (design, configuration, calculations, materials and processes, systems, testing, etc.), both during development and the “In Service” phase.

You act as the technical leader of the project and as the key interface between engineering, the customer, the program manager, and other departments.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Structuring the project with support from engineering competence centers
  2. Creating the project budget and defining WBS, OBS, CBS
  3. Developing a project schedule aligned with internal development processes
  4. Defining resource needs and maintaining the development plan
  5. Coordinating teams across locations (internal, customers, partners)
  6. Leading technical reviews, ensuring documentation, and meeting milestones
  7. Tracking progress via QCD indicators and reporting to management
  8. Managing risks, issues, and opportunities with clear action plans
  9. Ensuring requirement traceability and compliance
  10. Supporting negotiations on technical aspects and budget changes

Your profile:

  • Civil or industrial engineer with 5+ years’ experience in aeronautical project management
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Knowledge of metallic and composite aeronautical structures
  • Strong grasp of key engineering functions (design, stress, materials, systems)
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible, autonomous, and open to travel
